Technical Staff

Steve holds the US Soccer National A Coaching License, the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, the UEFA B - DFB and continues to work as a National Staff Instructor with the United Soccer Coaches. Freeman, a former professional player, founded the Club in 1996 with the focus on the player working in a collective environment. Blackwatch Soccer Club - BWP Football Academy has proudly been a part of over 650 graduates who have played collegiately with nearly 175 playing at the NCAA Division I level. Of the 650+ graduates over 50 have captained their respective collegiate sides with many of them crediting their experience in the BWP Leadership Academy while in the Club. Freeman holds a Master’s in Teacher Education and Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. He is also a veteran public educator with over 25 years of experience. Steve has coached college soccer at the NCAA Division II and III levels for 16 seasons, scholastic soccer for 12 seasons and is entering his 11th season at the Christian Brothers Academy.
