We are happy to announce BWP, in conjunction with Chris Book of Adelphi, is giving our players and parents the opportunity to attend a Zoom presentation with former Professional players Chris Armas and Mike Windischmann. While this event is FREE, you are required to register. The link is below:
On Wednesday, 18 November at 7:00 pm two of New York’s most successful and famous soccer alumni – Chris Armas and Mike Windischmann will participate in a free-of-charge Zoom webinar open to all youth players, coaches, and fans.
Mike Windischmann who grew up playing in Queens went on to play professionally in Los Angeles and Albany. He captained the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team, and was also the captain of the US World Cup team in 1990 which participated in Italy.
Chris Armas, a Long Island native, played in the MLS for 11-years with the Los Angeles Galaxy: and Chicago Fire. He debuted for the U.S. National Team in 1998. Retiring from his playing career in 2007, Armas later coached at Chicago Fire and was Head Coach of the New York Red Bulls’ from 2018-20
Chris and Mike will share “Reflections” on their outstanding and historic soccer careers in a Zoom Webinar presented by Adelphi University on Wednesday, 18 November at 7:00 pm. Please register here to attend this outstanding event.
