BWP FA Competes Across ECNL RL Weekend 6 While Girls Shine at Saratoga Invitational

Albany, NY – BWP FA Boys Academy teams were in action across multiple age groups this past weekend, competing in ECNL Regional League Regular Season Match Weekend 6 while the BWP FA Girls U15/16s delivered an impressive tournament performance at the Saratoga May Day Invitational. BWP FA Boys U12/13s, U14s, U15s, U16s, U17s, and U18/19s all took the field as the Club hosted Brentwood SC and Eastern FC. Across the matchups, BWP FA showed strong effort and moments of quality, but both Brentwood SC and Eastern FC proved to be difficult opposition on the day. “I continue to be super impressed by our youngest footballers as they get back up and play again,” stated Academy Director Steve Freeman. “They had the match against Eastern FC 3-2 in the second half with a couple of chances to draw level. I have no doubt they are coming. They never complain or make excuses. This year has been an amazing experience for them.”
