BWP Football Academy Claims Three Championships at Mid-Atlantic Cup
Lancaster, PA – BWP Football Academy traveled to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, this past weekend to compete in the Mid-Atlantic 
Cup, hosted by PA Classics. Five BWP FA age groups participated in the tournament, competing against top clubs from throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
The weekend proved to be a tremendous success for the academy, highlighted by championship performances from the BWP FA Girls U15/16s, BWP FA Boys U15s, and the BWP FA Boys U18/19s, while the BWP FA Boys U14s advanced to the championship match and finished as finalists.
The BWP FA Girls U15/16s continued their outstanding season by capturing the tournament championship with a perfect 4-0-0 record. The squad was consistent on both sides of the ball, scoring 13 goals while not conceding a single goal throughout the tournament. Their defensive organization, disciplined play, and attacking quality propelled them to another trophy-winning performance.
The BWP FA Boys U15s also claimed a Mid-Atlantic Cup championship, finishing the weekend with a 3-0-1 record. After navigating a competitive bracket, the boys secured the title with a hard-fought 2-1 victory in the championship match. The team’s resilience and commitment to playing positive soccer were evident throughout the weekend. 
The BWP FA Boys U18/19s added a third championship for the club, earning first place with an impressive 3-1-0 record. The group showcased one of the tournament’s most potent attacks, scoring 13 goals while conceding just three. Their consistent performances throughout the weekend helped secure the top spot in their division and another trophy for the academy.
The BWP FA Boys U14s demonstrated tremendous character and determination en route to a 
finalist finish. After suffering an early loss to Delaware FC, the group responded impressively, winning key matches to advance to the championship game. The team finished the tournament with a 2-2-0 record and valuable experience gained from competing deep into the knockout rounds.
The BWP FA Boys U16/17s battled through a competitive division and finished with a 1-1-1 record. The team showed positive moments throughout the tournament and gained valuable experience against quality regional competition.
Overall, the Mid-Atlantic Cup provided an excellent environment for player development and team growth. Competing against 
clubs from across the region allowed BWP FA players to challenge themselves in meaningful matches while continuing to build toward the upcoming season. BWP FA tallied 13Ws 4Ls 2Ds across all of its age categories.
