a championship round; winners may earn a free berth to the Thanksgiving Desert Super Cup (New York City Cup). The BWP FA U15/16s – 2009/10s did just that, finishing at the top of the group and earning their third championship match of the 2024/25 season. FA Euro scored in the final minute of regulation to win 3-2 over the BWP FA U15/16s – 2009/10s to win the title match. “We did great to jump on the match and take a 1-0 lead, but FA Euro’s group did well to come back into the match and take the lead,” said Academy Director Steve Freeman. “Our boys equalized off the kickoff restart to bring the match back to 2-2 with less than 5:00 to play, and with a great diagonal serve into the box the FA Euro forward was able to flick the ball beyond our goalkeeper for the winner.”
The BWP FA U17/18/19s – 2006/07/08s won two of its matches in group play, but lost a closely fought 1-0 match against Triboro United FC who were the eventual champions to finish second in the group stage. The BWP FA U13/14s – 2011/12s won its first match against Real Central NJ FC 2-1, but fell short against Tennessee’s Jackson DC Panthers SC 4-2 and lost in the final group match to FA Euro 5-0.
As a Club, BWP FA scored 23 goals across the 10 matches, conceded 19 goals for a goal differential of +3.
